Rise in the City
A few weeks ago, Earl was one of 74 artists to create an art piece in support of Rise in the City and its aim to help the children of Lesotho. The piece is titled block within a Block within a BLOCK and focuses on Henderson Place near Gracie Mansion. Henderson Place was one of the nation's first housing developments that was "built for persons of modest means." The quality of materials, detailing in the Queen Anne Style, and the scale of the development is reflective of a lost art in architecture and construction. Our workshop is proud to have contributed to the effort, to be shown among so many talented artists, and to have been asked to be part of the Host Committee for next year's event.
